Getting the right results

 

In connection with the practical execution of surveys, we have developed the following three-step project model that ensures customised measurement and high quality analysis in a short time:

 

Step 1

 

Preparation

   
   

Target & Planning

Based on the company's current challenges and needs RelationMonitor draws the basic design of the analysis. In this phase, we clarify objectives, participant groups (respondents), anonymity, data collection and analysis methods, time plans, and the general content of reporting.

 

Questionnaire

Based on the adopted measurement plan RelationMonitor develops the questionnaire (together with the client) to be used in the analysis. In this phase, we clarify topics, structure, response scales and interview technique.

 

Design and pilot test

When the questionnaire is established RelationMonitor prepares an electronic version of the questionnaire in a user-friendly design, customisable to the client's visual identity. Before we make the questionnaire available to respondents any mistakes or misunderstandings are discovered and adjusted in a pilot test.

  

 

 

Step 2

Data collection

At this point the questionnaire is open to respondents. During data collection RelationMonitor handles the practical part of the survey including: e-mail invitations, technical support to participants and regular monitoring of response rates.

 

Data validation

During data collection RelationMonitor starts the types of analyses agreed with the client. In this phase we carry out: validation and data quality checking, analysis of response rates and representativeness.

  

 

 

Step 3

Analysis & Interpretation

In this phase we carry out analysis (whether simple or sophisticated) of the data material, and, if agreed with the client, we prepare an annotated report with conclusions and recommendations. At this point in the analysis process, it may be relevant to include some of our external partners.

 

Final reporting & presentation

Electronic reports are implemented in RelationMonitor’s system and released online. Users of the results on the client side will receive an email with a link that provides access to all results. It is possible to export online reports to PowerPoint, Excel and as PDFs.

 

Following this, RelationMonitor carries out a workshop where selected people on the client side are assembled and the main results are presented. During the workshop the findings and reasons relevant to them are discussed.

 

Follow-up

At this point the important follow-up work starts. We happily assist our clients in using the results and – when relevant – we may team up with some of our external specialised partners.
